What we collect

We collect the email and password you sign up with, the content you add to your books (notes, recordings, writing samples, drafts), and basic usage and billing information. We don't buy personal data about you or sell your data to anyone.

How we use it

We use your information only to operate Bookwright for you: to authenticate you, store your work, generate and edit your book, and process payments. Your book content is sent to our AI providers strictly to produce your output.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of trusted processors:

• Supabase — account login and database storage.
• Anthropic and OpenAI — AI generation, editing, and voice transcription.
• Stripe — payment processing (we never see or store your full card number).
• Vercel — application hosting.

Your content & AI training

Your content is yours. We do not use your books or materials to train our own models, and we use providers under terms that do not train on your data via their business APIs.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and content at any time by contacting us.
